Morriseau , Delores
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Delores Morriseau on September 20th at St. Josephs Hospice with her family by her side. Delores was born on August 17th, 1939 and raised in Thunder Bay and lived here all her life. She is survived by her two sons Leslie (Barb) and John (Bev) and her daughters Maryanne, Lizzy (Dan), Lila (Jane) and Pam (Tom); her brother Bobby (Mary), sister Wendy and grandchildren Cortney (Steven), Kristy (Dallas), Logan, Lacey, Shainah, Shannon, Nicole, Braidon, Amelia, Trayton, Brittany, Stacy, Abigail, Hannah-Rose, Jacqueline and Tamara; great grandchildren Jersey, Dallas Jr., Preston, Paige and Devon. She is also survived by uncle Ed, friend Martha, sister-in-law Mary Kruk and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Delores loved going to Mountain Bingo and seeing all her many fiends, especially Rocky and Emily. She enjoyed playing cards and going to the Charity Casino to play Keno. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoying a good laugh. A special thanks to Moms very good friend Pat and her three sons Lorne, Lyle and Len. Predeceased by her husband Joe, son Micheal, brother Bernie, sister Rachael, Dad & Mom, Steven and Mary Kruk. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 26th at St. Anns Church, Mission Road beginning at 11:00am with Father Larry Kroker officiating. Interment immediately after Mass in the Immaculate Conception cemetery at Squaw Bay. Luncheon will be provided by Fort William First Nation Health Department after the service at the Bingo Hall. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Josephs Hospice Palliative Care Group, as well as Fort William First Nation for providing the luncheon.
