O'Leary, Donetta

Mrs. Donetta O’Leary, age 87 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Donetta was lifetime resident of the city and was married to Michael O‚Leary. He predeceased her in 1970. She enjoyed to attend bingo, go to the casino and enjoyed to do a number of different crafts. Her family had a large role in her life and as they grew so did her love for them. Donetta is survived by her children, daughter Patricia Randall (Glenn Karam), grandchildren Shawn and Shane (en route), son Michael (Doris), grandchildren Sheri-Lynn, Michael (en route), Patrick, Kahn and Dana, son Dennis (Wendy) (en route), grandchildren Shannon and Travis, son James (Lucy), grandchildren Adam and Erin (en route), son Gary (Lorie), grandchildren Richard, Justin, Cody and Katilynn, daughter Ellen Holowka (Thomas), grandchildren Joesph, James and Jesse, daughter Doneta Wywrot (Larry), grandchildren Thomas (en route) and Michael (en route), 21 great grandchildren, two sisters Amy Lenton and Rose Zimak. Nieces, nephews and
other relatives also survive. She was predeceased by her parents Felix and Filomena Troisi, husband Michael, three sisters Madeline, Phyllis and Margaret, two brothers Joseph and Nicholas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 when family and friends will gather for the
funeral services in Blake Funeral Chapel at 11:00am with Rev. Victor DeGagné of St. Dominic’s Church officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials to the Diabetic Association would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Donetta O'Leary in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2011.
