It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marguerite Pacholczak, aged 81 years, suddenly in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre on October 20, 2011. She was born in Oskelaneo River in Quebec. Marguerite moved to Ontario for marriage and children. She devoted most of her life to her family and the communities she lived and participated in. She loved to host celebrations of family and friends with many hours spent in preparing the food and a welcoming home. She loved to tell and listen to the numerous stories that involved her many grand and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Tom; mother and father John and Helene Edwardson; son Dennis Dupont and son-in-law Gary Lajeunesse. She is survived by her daughters, Helene Dahl (Greg), Sharron Dupont and Susan Dupont; stepdaughters Audrey Demers and Kim McKenna; stepson Lyle; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother Leonard (Lois) Edwardson and many nieces and nephews. Extended family and treasured friends also survive. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Marguerites life will be held at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, 675 Red River Road, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 29th, 2011 with the Rev. Lyn Fisher officiating. Reception to follow in church hall. A private family interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the CNIB or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
