Ron Eli succumbed to cancer. He left a large footprint on this world in many ways and was generous to a fault. He loved life, always saying that he was here for a good time. He was true to his word. Ron leaves to mourn his soul mate Maggie Chandler, parents Paul and Florence, sisters Paulette Parson (Edward) and Janice Pampu (Dell Babcock) , nieces and nephews (Kevin, Carley, Danielle, Christine, William and Johanna), other family members and many dear friends who will carry the torch and keep life rocking! Ron worked for over 30 years in the car business, played tennis and most of all loved boating. He had many dear friends down on the docks and was always ready to go out at a moment's notice to catch crabs, prawns and fish, only to return and share his catch with his friends over a glass of wine or two! That was his idea of a great day. He loved to visit Barbados with Maggie and spend time basking in the sunshine and enjoying the island. A Celebration of Life for Ron will be held at 44 Penfold Street on Sunday, September 25th from 2 - 5 pm.
