Pearson, Euretta

Mary Euretta (Retta) Pearson aged 91 years of Schreiber passed away peacefully with her family by her side at McCausland Hospital on April 29, 2005. Retta was born in Sudbury on April 4, 1914 but was a resident of Schreiber all her life and was a life-long member of the C.W.L. Retta was active in her community, a kind person who was always generous in her support of others. She enjoyed numerous travels to visit family and friends, collecting nick-knacks and doing crafts. Retta was predeceased by her husband Charles, sisters Myrtle Gilmore and Gertrude Nobel and brothers Bernard and William Paradis. Retta will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marilyn (Peter) Kachur, Carl (Crystal) Pearson and Barry (Joyce) Gilmore and grandchildren, Colleen (Glenn), Dean (Valerie), Gregory, Daniel,Amanda and Adam. As well as great-grandchildren Benjamin, Halle, Keira, Alexis and Mason and her sister Cecile Wilson and brother Edmond Paradis and also many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the King Funeral Home in Schreiber from 7:00pm. to 9:00pm. on Sunday May 1, 2005 with Prayers beginning at 7:30pm. A Resurrection Mass for Retta will be held on Monday May 2, 2005 beginning at 11:00am. from Holy Angel's Roman Catholic Church with interment to follow in Schreiber Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are welcome or if friends so desire donations to the McCausland Hospital Long term Care project would be appreciated.
