It is with great sorrow that the family of Scott (Scotty) AlexanderRoss, age 46 years, mourn his sudden passing on the morning of EasterSunday with his wife Gayle at his side after a courageous battle withcancer. Born in Port Arthur on October 3, 1956, Scott grew up on the familyfarm, where his family still resides. He worked as a back hoe operatorwith N/C Gas for 20 years where he made a lot of very close dearfriends. Afterwards he took over the family farm with partner andbrother Tim Ross, creating a successful business over the past decade.Scotty was always building or repairing something and made it his goalin life to teach his two sons (his pride and joy) everything he knew.Scotty is survived by the love of his life, wife Gayle (Davis) whom hewas married to for 23 years, his two cherished sons Ryan and Troy,mother Phyllis, brothers Ron (Judy), Philip and Tim (Kathy), sistersJudy (Don) Brown and Juliette (Brian) Collier, mother-in-law SylviaDavis, brother-in-laws Vern (Ilene) Davis and Cliff (Barb) Davis,sister-in-laws Betty Sheedy, Evelyn Davis and Darlene (Terry) Morrow aswell as many nieces and nephews. Scotty is predeceased by his fatherLloyd, father-in-law Gilbert Davis as well as two brother-in-laws.In Respect of Scotty's wishes, cremation has taken place and a privatefamily memorial will be held at a later date.
