RYAN Jerry died suddenly of a heart attack on June 20, 2000 while working in Ladysmith, BC. Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, November 3, 1944, age 55 years. Predeceased by his father William Ryan on January 9, 2000 and an infant brother Kenny. Jerry is survived by his wife Denise; mother Ann, Thunder Bay; Ontario, sister Marianne (Bill) Foley, Thunder Bay, Ontario; brother John (Molly), Surrey, BC; mother-in-law Marie Maidment, Duncan, brothers-in-law; Joseph Maidment, Thunder Bay, James and Carol-Anne Maidment, Chilliwack, Ed and Irene Maidment, Thunder Bay, many nieces and nephews from Thunder Bay, one great niece and one nephew, Thorold, Ontario. Jerry worked for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool as an electrician. In 1994 he moved to Cowichan Bay with his wife Denise. Together they started the Cowichan Valley Water Company. Customers were very important to him and he looked forward to his daily runs, working long hours to meet the needs of his customers. He will be sadly missed by his wife Denise and his two partners, Max and Maggie. Jerry was an active member of the Duncan Kinsmen and a great supporter of the Capitals Hockey League. He loved life to the fullest. 'A Life Gone Too Soon!' A Visitation will be held in Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC on Friday, June 23, 2000 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. followed with a Prayer Service from 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be held in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 790 Kilmalu Road, Mill Bay, BC on Saturday, June 24, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Father A.
