Scott, H. Norman

Mr. H. Norman Scott passed away unexpectedly at T.B.R.H. Friday September 30, 2005 at the age of 79. Born October 4, 1925, Norman was a lifetime resident of Thunder Bay. Educated locally, at the age of 17 he made the decision to serve his country with the Canadian Naval Forces serving in WW 2. He married the former Joyce Ann Jones with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 23, 2000. Norman enjoyed all aspects of life, family and friends being very important to him. From his golf sessions with the guys, his daily roams through the casino and mall, to the countless hours of cards and the famous happy hour with the Frederica St. gang. He was a member of the Masons, Kaministiquia Lodge AF & AM, Federal Superannuate National Association and a WW2 Veteran with the Canadian Naval Forces. Predeased by his mother and father, brothers Bill and Jack, Son Kevin, granddaughter Jill and his loving wife Joyce. Norman is survived by his daughter Janice (Jay), sons Fraser (MaryJane) and Mark. Grandsons Kevin Gvora, Brent and Tyler Massaro, Jeff and Dan Scott, sister Jean Sorel and many nieces, nephews and inlaws. A memorial service for the late Norman Scott will be held Tuesday October 4, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Branch 5 Legion on Van Norman St. with the Reverand Cannon John Jordan officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Mountainview Cemetery.
