Joyce A. Scott age 71, passed away at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital - McKellar on Thursday, September 7, 2000. Joyce was born to parents Irene and Robert (Joe) Jones, November 15, 1928. She married Norman Scott on July 23, 1949. Joyce is survived by her husband Norman, daughter Janice Massaro (John), sons Fraser (Mary Jane) Kitamat, B.C. , and Mark Scott, grandchildren, Kevin Gvora, Brent & Tyler Massaro, Jeff & Danial Scott, Kitamat, B.C. , brother Carl Jones, sisters-in-law, Jean Sorel, Richmond, B.C. , Edyth Scott, and Pat Jones. She was predeceased by her parents Irene and Joe Jones, son Kevin Scott, granddaughter Jill Scott and brother Jack Jones. Joyce worked for many years at Chapples Dept. Store, the Royal Edward Hotel and the former Airlane Hotel. She was a faithful member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Branch #6, for many years. A memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 (May St. ) on Tuesday, September 12, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Jordan officiating. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery will be held prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charity of your own choice would be greatly appreciated.
