Scott, Ken

Mr. Ken Scott "Perk", age 62 years, passed away peacefully in hospital with family by his side on Thursday, November 29, 2007. Ken was born on May 24, 1945 and was a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay. He married June Hannah in August 1976. He worked at numerous places including Kam Motors, Ken's Storage, P& H Elevator and retired from Bombardier in August 2006. He loved the outdoors, spending most of his summers camping and fishing at Arrow Lake. An avid hockey fan, he spent many hours at local arenas, watching his children's games. Ken is survived by his wife June, children: Brooke (Jeff) Carlson, Meagan, Cooper of Edmonton and Spencer of Ecuador, granddaughters Hannah and Elizabeth Carlson and Maria Scott. Sister Wendy; brothers: Todd, Mark and George, all of Vancouver; mother in-law Irene Hannah; June's sisters and brothers: Leslie (Guy) Diana, Dianne (Rod) Wittig, Marilyn (Tom) Marostica of Winnipeg, Bill (Sandy) Hannah of Montreal and Alan Hannah of Calgary, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Scott (nee Kenny). Funeral services for the late Mr. Ken Scott will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James with Rev. Joyce Hannaford officiating.
