Trochimchuk, Susan Elizabeth

Susan Elizabeth Trochimchuk passed away peacefully on March 10, 2011 at the TBRHSC. Susan was born July 28, 1951, in Fort William, the oldest of four children. Susan was a joy to her family throughout her life. She worked most of her adult life at ARC Industries and had many hobbies, especially her love of puzzles, knitting and crocheting. She was especially wonderful with her nephews, always kind and patient, and always ready to play for hours with them. She remained a child at heart all of her life and we are blessed with so many lovely memories of her. In later years, Susan lived in a group home provided by The Lakehead Association of Community Living, where she was looked after by many caring workers who lovingly made her life comfortable. Susan is survived by mother Frances, sister Judy (Fred) Kiernicki of Kirkland Lake, brother Bill (Helen), brother James, and nephews Stephen and Warren; predeceased by her father William in 1983. The family would like to thank the staff at TBRHSC and the support workers from Susan’s home for their excellent and compassionate care. Cremation will take place and there will be a private family service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to a charity of your choice.
