Monica Turner, resident of Thunder Bay, peacefully began her journey home on her 80th birthday, Wednesday, April 26th, 2006. Remarkably, Monica fought with strength and determination to celebrate her birthday and passed away that evening. She is survived by her 8 children; Dianne, Deborah, Lorna, Toby, Edgar, James, Tracey, Kelly and their partners as well as 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 29th, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Kitchitwa Kateri Church, 451 N. Syndicate Ave. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations to the Kitchitwa Kateri Church would be greatly appreciated. "Farewell to all my family. Farewell to all my children and their families, until we meet again.
