It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fernand R. Vezeau on June 2, 2011 in his 79th year at the Blind River District Health Centre. Fern will be remembered for his talent and skill as a hairdresser. Known for excellence and expertise in the trade, a teacher to many. With his warm smile, quick sense of humor and sharp sense of style Fern touched the lives of many. Throughout his life he remained interested and interesting. Whether it was flying his Piper Cub, sailing Lake Huron or riding across country on his beloved Goldwing. He will be sadly missed as a husband, father and a pepere. Survived by wife Mary, children Richard (Helen), Fernande, Jacques (Lynn), grandchildren Jemma, Chelsea, Remy, Jordan, and Arienna, stepchildren Debra (Eric), Brenda (Blaine), Pat, Rick (Cheryl), step grandchildren, Brandi, Adam, Randi, and Katie. Preceded by loving wife Rita. A Heartfelt thanks to all our supportive family and friends and to the kind and caring staff of B.R.D.H.C. and Golden Birches L.T.C. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.R.D.H.C. Bucks for Beds Campaign would be appreciated. A Mass and gathering in Fern’s honour will held on June 25, 2011, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, Blind River, ON. Time of Service to be announced.
