Eldon J. - Passed away at his home in Manitouwadge on Sunday October 2, 2011 after a lengthy illness at the age of 75 years. Eldon was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a very dear friend to all who knew him. Eldon was a very kind, generous and very hand man and will fondly be remembered as a man who loved to fix broken microwaves, vacuums and other small appliances and give them to people and organizations who needed these items. These acts of generosity were done with love and pride and were done with nothing ever being expected in return. In keeping with Eldon’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels on Thursday October 13, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment of ashes at the Brussels Cemetery. A local memorial service will be held at a later date.
