Wigmore, Margaret Elizabeth

October 18, 1933 - November 18, 2005 With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Elizabeth Wigmore (nee Douglas) on November 18, 2005 at the age of 72 years at St. Joseph's Hospice with her family by her side following a lengthy illness. Margaret was born in Fort William, Ontario on October 18, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Donald and Agnes Douglas. In her earlier years, Margaret worked at Can Car where she learned her skill as a printer which led to her career as Owner and Proprietor of Marg's Print Shop. Following her retirement Marg focused her life on her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her soul-mate and loving husband George, son Kevin (Ellen), daughter Brenda Nahkala (Kevin), her four wonderful grandchildren: Mitchell, Cameron, Blake and Devin, sisters Doreen Oakley (Ernie), Shirley Vanderwey and Beverly Danchuk (Bill), brother David Douglas (Rosalie), sisters-in-law Shirley Douglas, Hilkka Douglas and Violet Wigmore and brother-in-law Bud MacMillan. Predeceased by her parents, brother Don Douglas, Jim Douglas and sister Ellen MacMillan. Margaret leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will always recall her warm and generous heart and hearty laugh. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23rd when family and friends will gather at Corpus Christi R.C. Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Richard Kowalchuk. All services will be complete in the church with interment to take place at a later date. Friends may call at the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 North Court on Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. As expressions of sympathy the family respectfully requests memorials to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, St. Joseph's Care Group (designated to Hospice Unit ) or to a charity of one's choice.
