Williamson, Bertha Marion

Mrs. Bertha Marion Williamson, age 69 years, a resident of 520 North Court Street, passed away in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital - General on Thursday, April 4, 2002. Born in Lake Helen, ON, Bertha resided in Keewatin, ON before moving to Thunder Bay twenty years ago. She was a cook by trade, working at various tourist camps. She enjoyed knitting and needlepoint, and especially being with her family.Bertha is survived by her husband Tom; two sisters: Irene Trudell of Brantford, ON and Beatrice (Jack) Koski of Thunder Bay. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents William, and Elizabeth Peterson; two sisters: Ellen Bright and Violet Peterson.According to Bertha's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Interment Service will be held in Riverside Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Ivany. Arrangements entrusted to Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street. .
