Youmans, Robert (Bob)

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved son, father, brother and uncle, Robert (Bob) Youmans on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 surrounded by his family.
Bob was born in Fort William on October 7, 1951. He recently retired from a long career with Union Gas. He was a gentle, unassuming man with a great love of nature and a generous spirit. His woodworking talents were treasured by his family. He was extremely devoted to his three loving daughters.
Left to mourn Bob are his children Adrienne (Andy Loghrin), Kerry and Madeline (Sean Seville) and their mother Christine Lawrie; his mother Arlene; siblings Terry (Donna), John and Kathy (Kevin) Johnson; uncles Bob (Irene) Youmans and Bill (Shirley) Youmans and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bob was predeceased by his father Hilton in 2003.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at TBRHSC and St. Joseph's Hospice Unit. A special thank you to Dr. Dueck and Mabel from Bayshore Home Care.
A private family graveside service will take place in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bob to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation, St. Joseph's Hospice or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
