Though flu season appears to have subsided for the time being, health officials are still encouraging those who haven‘t yet got a shot to get one in the new year.

Here‘s how:

Regular Wednesday vaccination clinics are available at the health unit‘s main Thunder Bay office at 999 Balmoral St. between 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Both H1N1 and seasonal flu shots are available.

The main-office clinic is a walk-in, so clients are served on a first-come basis.

Shots are also available by appointment at medical clinics across the district.

So far this season in the Thunder Bay District, four people who became infected with the H1N1 virus have died.

More information can be viewed online at thunderbayflu.ca.
