Paramount Live students put on a production of Legally Blonde Jr. last Thursday and Friday night on the stage at the Maple Tops on Court Street.
The musical, just like the movie it is based on, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
Co-directors Olivia McInnis and Carly Martin said that “this is a story about overcoming obstacles but most importantly, it is a story about believing in yourself. Elle Woods learns that beyond the pink dresses and blonde curls, she is a strong and intelligent woman. This message reminds us all that we are capable of achieving greatness.”
