The alleged victim in an extortion case involving Thunder Bay’s former mayor finished his testimony on Monday stating Mary Voss never threatened him and he believes she was swayed by other people.

Keith Hobbs, his wife Marisa Hobbs and Voss are on trial for allegedly extorting an individual to purchase a house for Voss by threatening to disclose criminal allegations to the police in the fall of 2016.

The criminal allegations involved videos on USB sticks of the alleged victim, who cannot be named because of a publication ban, acting erratically and using profane and vulgar language.
