Going slightly batty

A pair of bakeries are offering safe alternatives to trick-or-treating during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Thunder Bay’s south side, in the heart of Westfort, Dagwood’s Bakery and Deli has undergone a spooky makeover in advance of its Slightly Batty Halloween planned for Oct. 31 between 5-8 p.m.

“We love Halloween,” said Zelia Widla, cake artist at the bakery on Brock Street.
