The children’s garden at the Centennial Botanical Conservatory is expected to be abuzz with activity on Saturday as young ones try their hand at gardening.
All children are invited to the annual Children’s Garden Planting Afternoon that Al Nunn said is all about getting kids interested in gardening.
“It’s to show them where food comes from to get them into the soil and really making a connection with this is where your vegetables in the store come from,” said Sandra Nunn.
