Through a partnership between Hydro One and Scouts Canada, the Head Safe initiative provides hands-on instruction to teach young people and families how to prevent, indentify and respond to head injuries.
The event landed in Thunder Bay on Saturday and also made stops in the Ontario communities of Ottawa, Peterborough, Windsor and Woodstock in October.
Siobhan Ward, youth program specialist with Scouts Canada, said that a small percentage of Canadians know what to do when dealing with a head injury.
