The Thunder Bay District Social Services Administration Board says it has “exhausted all avenues in the pursuit of emergency child care options for families.”

On Thursday, the organization issued a news release stating it has received numerous calls from essential workers in need of child care for their children with schools in Thunder Bay closed because of the city’s high numbers of COVID-19 cases.
