Expanding training programs bode well for life-long learning

Oshki-Pimache-O-Win’s president Lorrie Deschamps, right, and Mohawk Medbuy Corporation’s vice-president of strategic sourcing, Marc Lemaire, take a tour of one of the new skills labs at the Thunder Bay campus of the Oshki-Wenjack Education Institute. Their newly expanded labs will allow for expansion of practical nursing and personal support worker training programs. Programs began for students on Monday. Serving the First Nation communities of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation, as well as Indigenous learners from across Ontario, Oshki-Wenjack is proud to provide a path to life-long learning and stronger communities. Oshki-Wenjack partnered with procurement specialists at Mohawk Medbuy Corporation’s northern office to obtain medical equipment for the programs.
