Ready to greet customers

David Green hopes his Thunder Bay customers have a sense of humour and are patient.

Green is the owner of Maier Hardware and was busy on Sunday giving parking lot service from his Algoma Street location.

“Customers can either drive up or phone in, press the doorbell, but they cannot come in the store,” said Green.

Sunday was the first day of new operating procedures for businesses deemed essential by the provincial government during the COVID-19 crisis.
