At the conservatory

Ornamental grasses and canna plants wait at the Thunder Bay Centennial Botanical Conservatory to be divided and stored after being pulled from city beds for the winter last year.

Advocates of the Thunder Bay Centennial Botanical Conservatory are grateful for city council’s decision to proceed with the renewal of the facility.

On Monday, council voted to move forward with a $4.67-million plan to renew the popular city attraction.
