Rails at the terminal

Steel rails are handled at Thunder Bay’s general cargo terminal at Keefer Terminal.

September was a strong month for Thunder Bay’s port.

More grain, coal and other dry bulk was handled by the port, along with more general cargo.

The rise in grain shipments is a result of increased canola deliveries from Western Canada that are being shipped to Europe. Canola volumes so far are two-thirds higher than last year.
