Step Up masks

Grade 4 and 5 students from Claude E. Garton Public School wear Step Up masks for Go Purple for Prevention Day.

People are asked to wear purple today to speak up against child abuse and neglect.

Today is Go Purple for Prevention Day, an initiative that is part of the 11th annual Step Up campaign by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care.

The Step Up campaign raises awareness about Child Abuse Prevention Month each October.
