One of the newest gold mines in Northwestern Ontario is set to go into full production.

Harte Gold Corp. said last week it has obtained the necessary provincial permits to begin production at its Sugar Zone Mine, located just north of White River and 80 kilometres east of the renowned Hemlo gold camp.

“We are very pleased to announce the completion of commercial permitting and the beginning of full-scale operations,” Toronto-based Harte Gold president Stephen G. Roman said in a news release.
