Bakery planning to open new location

The Sweet North Bakery is setting up a drive-thru location in the former Robin’s Donuts on Fort William Road. The bakery is expecting to open the location in February.

Erinn DeLorenzi began selling salted and cinnamon pretzels at the Thunder Bay Country Market more than seven years ago.

Since then she and her husband, Kris, have moved beyond the market, opening the Sweet North Bakery on Court Street in 2014 and later a location inside Intercity Shopping Centre.

The bakery offers a variety of items, including their signature pretzels and sticky buns as well as soups, sandwiches, cookies and more.
