ThunderCon and The Hunger have come together for a fun-filled event that will last through the day and into the evening.

Organizers of two annual events have joined together to help you “get your geek on” in an entire day — and night — of “geeky goodness.”

ThunderCon and The Hunger have come together in a Halloween partnership on Oct. 27, for a day-long convention and an evening filled with loads of music, performances and prizes.

Heather Dickson, media director with ThunderCon, said it made sense to join together for the after-party.

“It’s the same day so we thought rather than try and fight it, let’s work together,” she said.

The Hunger, which is presented by Definitely Superior Art Gallery and celebrating its 13th year, is one of Thunder Bay’s largest annual music, art and performance events and raises funds for the contemporary arts.

On Saturday, Oct. 27, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., the Waterfront District will come alive with music and festivities.
