Contest Rules

The Chronicle-Journal periodically runs contests in the body of our print edition, our website, and/or our Facebook page.

These contests may request you to participate by either purchasing a print or digital edition of The Chronicle-Journal, or by just liking and sharing our Facebook page.

For no purchase necessary entry, entrant(s) must submit an essay, which describes in 50 words or more, why they wish to win the prize listed in the contest. Essays must be received by the contest deadlines. Email essays to: Include the name of the contest and date ran and where you saw it.

All prizes must be accepted as is. Terms and conditions of prizes must be accepted as listed in the official rules.

The winner agrees to release The Chronicle-Journal, its employees and sponsors, as well as its agents, suppliers and affiliated agencies, of all responsibilities in the eventuality of any accident, injury, loss or any other problem and casualty in relation to the prizes in this contest.

The decisions of the organizers are irrevocable and the contest sponsors reserve the right to change any of the terms of the contest.
