Hawks take down rivals

At left is Jake Baca of the Hawks. Travis Glomba was unstoppable for the Hawks, scoring four goals and adding two assists as his team rolled to a 9-2 win over their city rival Walleye. Nick D’Angelo, with two, Drew Safronuk, Eric Lampo and Devlin McGuire also scored for the Hawks, who are now tied with the Walleye atop the LJHL standings with 10-4-1 records. Jack Michaelis and Garret Gammond replied for the Fighting Walleye, who are the hosts of the 2020 Keystone Cup at the Tournament Centre. The Walleye will travel to Fort Frances on Saturday and Emo, Ont., on Sunday to take on the Peguis Juniors in a pair of exhibition games.
